The word “FOODIE” has gotten stale over time. What was once a distinguished title, used sparingly, and reserved for those food adventure seekers keen on trends, product launches, eating education and culinary tourism, has become a word much bemoaned by food industry insiders.

This installment of ‘Healthy Food Bites To-Go’ is dedicated to the definition of a foodie which refuels this health writer’s drive to scour the marketplace for better-for-you food finds.
